Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations

The Rainbows and Brownies enjoyed a traditional tea party to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in June.

They all made a crown at home to wear at the party and enjoyed sandwiches, cake and mocktails to toast Her Majesty, and we sang the National Anthem.

Games played were Pass the Parcel, Musical Statues and Pin the Crown on the Corgi, noughts and crosses and skittles.

A great time was had by all and the girls went home with a Guiding/Scouting commemorative badge and goody bag.

Visitors to the Community Cafe in June enjoyed a tea party to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Home made scones baked by Marcia were enjoyed by all as we toasted Her Majesty and chatted about bygone days!
